Ziavi Progress

The Chief and Elders meet to discuss their working strategy for the forth coming months as Ghana Outlook begins the project development. There is much to over the next seven months to have the school and library finished for August 2004. The work will be very physical as there is no mechanical assistance.

The Ground where the school is to be built has to be first cleared of bush and grassland so that the foundations can be prepared. the opposite picture demonstrates the ethos of Ghana outlook. Committment to self-help is the main principle of community development. It invites the community to not only make a contribution to its own development but also to have some ownership and pride when the project is completed.

Ziavi like our other similar projects are not freebies. The community gives what it can if the form of physical labor, Ghana Outlook only provides the means through financial support. Ghana Outlook still requires funding support for this particular project and other on going projects. Can you help?
