All GO youth projects are in two parts. The first is the actual project work that the team worked hard to deliver to the community as promised. The second part of the program is co-education where the program is set to help the youth learn something about the history and culture of Ghana. This is done through site visits and practical involvement. |

The actual hands on approach like shown in the photo on the right is a good example of how the youth begin to appreciate our cultural differences. Not having the supply services like home does give additional challenges to normal home cooking. Not having the Tesco available down the road certainly makes supply of food a greater consideration. |

The geography of Ghana varies greatly. Having chance to visit the rain forest is always an adventure no one wants to miss. Kakum Park is part of the itinerary. It is there where the tree top walk is available. At 45m above ground you get a real sense of the density and vibrant life within the forest |

Tie and Dye, a common material printing process in Ghana, is the program of the day shown on this photo. Here the team created some of there own samples to take back home with them. "seeing and learning about Ghana was important to me, and I was glad that it was included in the program. It helps me to understand so much more" |
