Ghana Outlook Libraries

The work back here in the UK to provide the libraries is ongoing through out the year. We collect and send thousands of books to Ghana each year. They are mainly of an educational nature, but there are also many general reading books for those who like to relax with a good book.

"Teaching the alphabet I said " A" for apple". They asked "What does an apple look like?" I was pleased that there a was book in the Ghana Outllok library".

As can be seen from the photos opposite we cater for all ages. There is a big demand for books as most schools have non at all. We only supply books once we are happy that they will be looked after and that there are provided some secure facilities to keep them in.

As with all our projects libraries are provided in consultation with schools teachers, community education departments and the district assembly.
